Potomac Highlands Soccer Club
(http://www.youth-soccer.com/)
Potomac Highlands Soccer Club is located in Mineral County, West Virginia, and is the only private youth soccer club in the United States. It is located in a lovely valley on Pattersons Creek, just before it runs into the Potomac River. The Potomac River divides Maryland and West Virginia. We are at the head waters of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal that runs from Cumberland, Maryland for 150 miles along the Potomac River to end in Washington, DC.

It is owned and operated by Susan Barse and Nelson McAvoy. It was started in 1996 and by necessity was privately owned because, in mountainous country, school yards were not planed with large enough fields. We now have almost identical programs in neighboring Grant and Hardy Counties. We are on the state boundry so we have players from both Maryland and West Virginia.

West Virginia Chaos Soccer Club (http://westvirginiachaos.com/index.asp)
We further support participation based upon individual interest and ability rather than economic circumstance. By developing the character and skill of its players, West Virginia Chaos seeks to foster community-wide support for youth soccer, to heighten recognition of the Kanawha Valley area, and to achieve soccer excellence on a statewide basis and throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

West Virginia Wesleyan “Edge” Camp
(www.bobcatsoccer.com)
West Virginia Wesleyan College’s residential soccer camp continues the dedication for quality instruction and personal player development. We offer a springboard for continued soccer growth in West Virginia and other areas throughout the United States. High school players will gain the necessary edge to make their fall, club and ODP teams while our younger campers will gain the skills and tactical awareness necessary for future development.
