Bayern Munich go through on the away goals rule with the Arjen Robben blast the home and away winner. And Robben's goal might very well be the goal of the Champions League tournament thus far. He cut inside as he loves to do and ripped the ball into the upper corner.
Robben is building up quite a good level of play of lates, if he keeps at it, he might just have a further break out this summer for Holland and have his name mentioned along side Messi, Cristiano and Kaka - as one of the world's greats. Robben is a unique player that the game needs, since he likes to take players on and go at them. He's a joy for the fans but a nemesis for defenders.
Robben has been sporting tights in games the past few weeks. I'm guessing this is a bit of superstition now, and since he's in good form he doesn't want to give them up, even if the tempatures are rising. I don't blame him. And against Fiorentina, he went with the white tights. After this goal, maybe he won't change out of them for the next game or the next or the next after that. Let's hope it's not that long.
