Who’s the new star of the Sounders? None other than Alexis Montero. Why weren’t we alerted to this signing sooner… What position does she play? Well, on game days she drives her husband, Sounders forward Fredy Montero, to the stadium so he doesn’t stress out while navigating through all the traffic. Talk about WAGS, wifes and girlfriends of soccer/footballers, she’s got to be up there towards the top of the list in the MLS. No wonder Fredy Montero has been playing so well the past few years. In truth, you have to take your hat off to Fredy for moving to the United States, to Seattle and the MLS, despite not speaking any English or knowing a single peson, and building a life for not only himself but for his family, too.
