Watch Brighton and Hove Albion’s Kaoru Mitoma first touch and brilliant finish off a long ball from goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen. Mitoma just keeps showing his quality on the soccer field no matter the competition.
The first touch control, and then the cut back and the shot, it is all incredible. Just look at the reaction of all of his Brighton and Hove Albion teammates after he scores. They are in all of the entire play and his skill.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah tries to keep up with him and stop the play, but has no chance.

Brighton striker Danny Welbeck, speaking to Premier League Productions after the match via the New York Times:
“It was great. It is a big three points. When I saw (Mitoma’s) first touch… I’ve seen him do it countless times in training.”
“He has a great first touch. It is not through luck, he has worked on it his whole career. I am so pleased we got the win today. It puts us on the right track to finish the season strongly.”
Additionally, there’s more and more talk these days about a bigger club signing him. And they will have to pay more and more money to have the Mitoma first touch.
Moreover, he just have the best first touch in the English Premier league. Which is saying quite a bit, but he keeps proving it.
Finally, credit goes to goalkeeper Verbruggen for the 80 yard precision pass to Mitoma. It is an assist worthy of the best of the year and Mitoma first touch and goal too.
Update: The touch and control by Mitoma was so good that the Premier League even called it Messi-like’.
Also, don’t forget he’s only 27 years old and has plenty of years ahead of him as a world class footballer.
