For a second I thought maybe Ndombele was trying to cross the ball here. But looking at it a few more times he seems intent on flicking the ball to the far post – up and over the keeper. Which he does with aplomb. Surely one of the goals of the year in the English Premier League.
What’s more, it’s a clever give and go exchange and genius chip pass that puts Ndombele through. It’s just good football by Tottenham Hotspurs. Watch Ndombele’s goal for Spurs below.
