Garnacho game winner for Manchester United. Who needs Cristiano Ronaldo when you have Alejandro Garnacho. At nearly half Ronaldo’ age, Garnacho is an electric player and just what Manchester United need at this moment.
Is it too late for Argentina to call up the 18 year old for the World Cup in Qatar? Yes, while Argentina have plenty of quality in their side it wouldn’t hurt to have more youth. It looks like both Argentina and Manchester United have a new star in the making.

Surely Athletic Madrid regret selling Garnacho to Manchester United. Garnacho joined United from Atletico Madrid for just $500,000 in 2020.
And the pass by Christian Eriksen is perfection. Just a beautiful give and go. It’s like a shuffleboard push that’s barely going to stay on the board, but glides to exactly the right spot for only Garnacho to reach.
As the announcer said, Alejandro Garnacho’s feet were touching the chalk of the sideline when he received the ball. He then charged at the Fulham defense with confidence and speed.
Alejandro Garnacho sent the Premier League into the World Cup break with an exclamation point, netting a stoppage-time winner to lift Manchester United over Fulham.
And it’s a Fergie time goal in the 93 minute! With Garnacho not trying to smash the soccer ball into the net but slotting it home with ease. Garnacho also shows strength too. As one of the Fulham defenders tries to pull him down or at least disrupt his efforts to score.
The visiting Manchester United fans chanted “Argentina” after the match. See the Garnacho game winner in the video below. I’m guessing that Argentina chant will become quite common in the years to come at Old Trafford. Also, it was great to see the whole Manchester United team celebrate Garnacho’s game winner and manager Erik ten Hag too.
