Andrea Pirlo Free Kick Versus Croatia

Many people were writing off Andrea Pirlo, saying at 33 years of age his career was on a downward trend. This was the thinking of his former club, AC Milan, who let him go play for rivals Juventus, where ended up playing like he was a kid again. Oh how they wish they had him back.

In the Euro 2012, it’s been much of the same for Pirlo, get the ball and give it and then every now and again thread through that killer pass, as he did to Di Natale against Spain. And now there’s this little bit of magic from Pirlo via a free kick versus Croatia. Don’t think it’s wise to count Pirlo out just yet. He’s still got many more years left on the world stage of football.
