Jude Bellingham’s magical back heel assist leads to Rodrygo’s brilliant goal. A beautiful give and go between the two Real Madrid players. Looks like they’ve done this before in training.
Moreover, it is a blind and or no look back heel pass by Bellingham. After receiving the back heel pass, Rodrygo bends the ball in to the far corner.
Watch the Bellingham back heel assist to Rodrygo in the video below. What’s more, he steps across his body to back heel the ball. The Red Bull Salzburg defenders are lost and dumbfounded on the play.

It was Bellingham’s second assist to Rodrygo in the Champions League game versus Red Bull Salzburg. Furthermore, Bellingham has recorded 24 goal contributions in the UEFA Champions League at 21 years of age, matching Lionel Messi’s total at that age.
It is incredible how young Bellingham is. You’d have to rank him as one of the top midfielders in the world. And he has really become a key player at Real Madrid.
Additionally, I wonder if people have already forgotten the Bellingham bicycle kick? Or, maybe you want to call it an overhead kick. Whatever you call it is a goal for history for England. And in the 95 minute no less. Bellingham’s future is very bright both for Real Madrid and England.
As far as midfielders go in world football, Jude Bellingham has it all. He has speed, strength, and technical ability on the soccer ball. He can score goals, and set teammates up. Perhaps the only thing he lacks is an ability to play long, killers passes. However, this is in part to where he’s positioned on the soccer field. He’s usually deep into the attacking third, as seen in this back heel pass.
Finally, Jude Bellingham has provided more Champions League assists than any other player since he joined Real Madrid at the start of last season. Eight and counting.
