They are intense and usually are games between two rivals. But classic games are more than anything about just a high level of play that’s continuous throughout the match.

Late goals from Robin van Persie and Thierry Henry saw Arsenal come from behind to earn a dramatic win over Premiership leaders Manchester United. Yes, almost any soccer game between Arsenal and Manchester United were classics during that period of the English Premier League.

Perhaps one of the best games of all time though, is the recent Barcelona comeback versus PSG. Barcelona came into the game down 4-0, but were able to amazingly score 6 goals and beat PSG to move on to the next round of the Champions League. And three goals came in the last 15 minutes or so.

FC Barcelona reversed a four-goal deficit in the second leg of their 2016/17 UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain to win 6–5 on aggregate, making it the largest comeback in UEFA Champions League history.
