Nike CTR 360 Maestri – Elite Series ReviewBy Sonny Han This review will focus on the comparisons and contrasts between the regular Nike CTR 360 Maestri and the Elite series version. The main difference between the regular Maestri’s and the Elite ones is the weights of these boots. While the regular Maestri’s weigh a decent 9.8 oz, the Elite ones only weigh 8.0 oz! This is about 19% lighter. Because the outsole of these Elite series Maestri’s are made of strong, lightweight carbon fiber, they will definitely assure you the best quality. The Kanga-Lite leather used in the main body offers you the flexibility of the real Kangaroo Leather, while maintaining lightweight. The technology used in these cleats, besides the carbon fiber plates on the outsole, remains the same. The control pads made of foam increases your ball control, and your passes. Furthermore, the target zone on the inside of each boot will enhance the accuracy of your passes. The asymmetrical lacing increases the strike zone for your feet. The fit in these cleats are similar to the regular Maestri’s. The Kanga-Lite is very flexible and offers much comfort. I haven’t faced any problems with these cleats so far, but there is a long history about the durability of this model. Since the leather is made of the same Kanga-Lite leather, it is assumed that it will scuff easily. I haven’t had any problems with the lace holders or the front part of the outsole. However, the outsole problems should be reduced due to the use of the new carbon fiber plates. |
