Not one but two assists for Anthony Robinson versus Liverpool. What a performance by Robinson. He’s continuously running up and down the line and nearly shut down Mo Salah.
It’s hard to say if he’s more valuable in the attack or in defending. While his two assists stand out on the stats sheet, it was his effort throughout the game that deserves even more praise.
Robinson, whose nickname is “Jedi”, is playing at a supremely high-level. Furthermore, the American soccer left-back for Fulham is just 27 years old. Physically and mentally he’s in his prime. There has been talk of him moving to an even bigger club. And based upon his performance versus Liverpool, you can see why.
Moreover, new United States men’s national team coach Mauricio Pochettino lets Robinson drift into the central midfield to cause trouble for other teams.
Watch Robinson’s cross to the back post which is met by Andreas Pereira with a volley in the 11th minute.
“What a ball. What a finish. What a moment for Fulham at Anfield.” 🔥

Then later in the game, he sprinted nearly the whole field to dig out a cross to Rodrigo Munizin. The goal nearly sealing the win against the top team in the league in the 76th minute.

I’d like to know how many miles Robinson covers each game? In this game, he surely ran more than Trent Alexander-Arnold. Which is saying quite a bit. Alexander-Arnold was even subbed out by the Liverpool manager Arne Slot. He’d exhausted himself trying to keep up with Robinson.
During the game there would be a block in the box, and the announcers would be trying to figure out who blocked a shot, and it always seemed to be Robinson. Very late he even blocked an important chance by Virgil van Dijk. He was just everywhere on the field.
Again though, it was his work rate and his ability to keep up with Salah throughout the game, stifling his attacks, that was most incredible.
Salah did notch his 100th assist for Liverpool on one play, where Robinson didn’t have the energy to get in front of him. However, for the most part, his performance was immense. When his game rating comes out for this match versus Liverpool surely it will be at least 9 out of 10.
For Robinson, two assists versus Liverpool I think is a game he’ll remember.
Antonee Robinson has provided 12 assists for Fulham since the start of the last Premier League season 💪
That’s the most by any defender in the league over that span 😤 pic.twitter.com/oD0tIYEMAO

Finally, I’m sure if you ask Salah the defender he hates playing against the most, he’d say Fulham’s Antonee Robinson.
