Stephen Ireland Goal

Stephen Ireland scores a savvy goal against Fulham. He smartly and easily bends the ball into the far corner – a wonderful curling shot. This is when he had hair, and this was perhaps before he made that horrible mistake of lying about his grandmother’s death to get back to Cork and visit his girlfriend who had miscarried – if you want to believe that.

"I decided at that stage that I must tell the truth and admit I had told lies," Ireland said. "I realise now it was a massive mistake to say my grandmothers had died and I deeply regret it."

At just 22 years of age he’s got a bright future, with hair or not, he’s an energetic player who seems to play well with Robinho. He’s also a player who can dribble and take people on, a talent that many clubs with pay big money for. Overall, he’s a player who creates scoring chances.

Stephen Ireland Without Hair

In the BBC interview below with young Ireland you can see his new look, a shiny new shaved head. Did he do this because he was losing his hair? He has had somewhat of a resurgance after he started sporting his new domed look, perhaps it’s working, giving him more aerodynamics.

The Irishmen has done some crazy things in the past, dropping his shorts after scoring a goal, so I wouldn’t put it past him to just shave his head because he feels like it. Why though son? If you’ve got your hair, keep it while you can. Just ask this bald force how much they wish they had their hair.
