Pulisic makes a very difficult volley with the inside of his foot off the bounce look easy. Is the pass better or the goal? You’d have to say the goal but it is close. Pulisic doesn’t have to break stride as the ball lands right on his foot.
One trait that Pulisic doesn’t get enough credit for is how tireless and fearless he is. There was no hesitation in striking the ball on the volley with a keeper coming out at him. It’s much like when he scored in the World Cup versus Iran and took the shot to the stomach area.
Pulisic’s left footed shot from the top of the box finds the far corner. The Jamaican goalkeeper Andre Blake rushed out to win the ball, but Pulisic beat him to it.
Assisted by McKennie with a perfect early ball. The two have a good understanding! Pulisic put his hand up calling for the ball and made the run and McKennie found him.
Overall, for the United States to do well in the 2026 World Cup they will need these two players to be at their best. They are the most important players on the team.
The Jamaican defense gave McKennie way too much time and space to pick out Pulisic. Nobody is going to after McKennie to force him to put his head down, at least.

Finally, Pulisic would go on to score another goal in the game. And with the two goals, via Goal.com, he passed Eric Wynalda for fourth all-time on the USMNT goalscoring chart with 35 goals putting him behind just Jozy Altidore, Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey.
