Guti is a player who probably deserves more praise than he gets. The Real Madrid midfielder has never really been a day in and day out starter for Madrid. Rather, he starts a few games here and there and then disappears. However, whenever he does play, he does the unexpected and the magical. Remember the back heel to Zidane, and then the back heel to Benzema? And when Guti comes off the bench, he’s always good for an assist or a goal. He’s spent his whole career at Real Madrid, from his youth team days way back in 1994. At 33 Guti has made 374 appearances and scored 45 goals but has just never received the same kind of attention as a Messi, Kaka or Cristiano. Let’s get to the shoes though, and right now Guti has been wearing the Puma v1.08 when he plays fore Real Madrid. |
