Louis Vuitton foosball commercial: How about playing some foosball with three soccer legends? Three of the greatest soccer players to ever play the beautiful game. Three soccer legends walk in to a bar. How about a game of foosball? “An encounter with greatness” featuring football’s greats: Diego Maradona, Pelé & Zidane – photography by Annie Leibovitz. From Vogue magazine:
FAMED photographer Annie Leibovitz has photographed football heroes Pele, Diego Maradona and Zinedine Zidane for Louis Vuitton’s latest advertising campaign. And Maradona looks happy and good in this ad, with his array of cross necklaces. Though surprised he’s not smoking a cigar!
“What true football fan has not dreamt of seeing these three living legends play each other?” Antoine Arnault, head of communications at Louis Vuitton said. “Louis Vuitton is honored that they agreed to team up for our Core Values campaign.”
Leibovitz photographed the three great soccer/football stars, who have all donned the legendary number 10 shirt, in Cafe Maravillas bar in Madrid, indulging in a tongue-in-cheek game of table football. The image captures an atmosphere of fun and friendly rivalry, with a tagline that reads “Three great journeys, one historic game”. Watch the famous Louis Vuitton foosball commercial below.
Probably time to do another soccer ad like this except with Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. Or who would you put in the commercial? Could be Cristiano, Messi and Erling Haaland. Or maybe young future soccer stars like Pedri, Gavi and Haaland.
