Did Heitinga throw Ashley Cole off when he bumped into him? Pretty clever move to knock him right before he steps up to shoot. I’m some what surprised more players don’t do this during penalty shoot outs to throw off the next shooter. Gamesmanship like this to mess with the next penalty kick taker probably wouldn’t be allowed though by most referees if more players do it.
During the FA Cup 4th round penalty shoot-out between Chelsea and Everton, Johnny Heitinga scored his penalty and when Cole was walking down to take his penalty, Heitinga walked right into him and bumped him with his shoulder. Ashley Cole sort of looked at him like what in the hell are you doing, and then proceeded to miss his penalty.
