Here’s a good video about how to curve the ball when shooting or crossing. The key is to wrap the inside of your foot around the ball and approach the ball at an angle when you strike it so it bends from the outside to the inside. This is great for free kicks, corner kicks or crosses. What I like best about this video is the kid has silver tape on his soccer shoes, which shows he trains a lot and has been using the same shoes for quite a while. And maybe he doesn’t want to give them up these particular soccer shoes just yet.
