Two fans rush the soccer field to hug New York Red Bulls forward Thierry Henry after the Houston Dynamo tied the game. The two fans make the security guards look like fools for a while, especially the kid in the blue shirt, but eventually they’re both caught. What I don’t get is why this Houston Dynamo fan grabbed one of the field rushers and pushed him back to the security guards. Why not just stay out of it? I guess it’s good to try and help?
Henry is getting the Messi like treatment as fans just want to get their hands on him and know that he is real. Henry took it fairly well, but has to be a bit scary when two fans come out of nowhere to jump on you. MLS is going to have to do a better job though with security if they won’t more big soccer stars from Europe to play in the league. But I guess players like Henry have faced much crazier fans playing for the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona. |
