PSG. World Champs?

There’s no other way to say it. PARIS SAINT GERMAIN annihilated INTER 5-0 in the
2025 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL at ALLIANZ ARENA in MUNICH last weekend.
LUIS HENRIQUE’S team outsmarted and outplayed the Italians technically, tactically,
and psychologically and had this game won long before the end. This was a CL beat
down for the ages.
INTER came with a reputation for tough defending. But on the big night they couldn’t get
near PSG’s fast moving attack that was picking holes in the Milan back line from the first
whistle.
In attack INTER brought DONNARUMMA in the PSG goal to only a couple of serious
saves in the whole 90 minutes.
The PSG attack on the other hand were in full flow inspired by early first half goals from
Ashraf Hakimi 12’, Desire Doue 20’, and Doue again at 63’, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia 73 ’
and Senny Mayalu 86’
On the sidelines , while MILAN boss SIMONE INZAGHI and his staff were being
cautioned by the ref for petulance and misbehaviour, PSG had maybe the most effective
coach in world football right now, LUIS HENRIQUE, calling the shots.
What a night HENRIQUE and his team had. PSG dominated in the key metrics of
possession 59% to 41%, shots 23 to 7 and shots on goal 8 to 2.
HENRIQUE couldn’t hide his joy at the end. He danced and hugged his PSG players
and staff on the field and later the executives too. His happiness had him fist pumping
the air and jumping into well wishers’ welcoming arms like a five year old. His
celebration was just right for the occasion and highlighted the pent up relief of PSG’s
win and long awaited CL redemption.
This was a super PSG performance to cap a brilliant FRENCH LEAGUE 1 TITLE
winning season.
It added PSG’s name to the 2025 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE trophy in the best way
possible by providing a feast of goals from fast-paced attacking soccer and clinical
finishing as good as any the CL FINAL has ever seen.
PSG blew INTER away at The ALLIANCE ARENA last Saturday night and laid valid
claim to being the best team on the planet right now.
