A good first touch is one of the most skillful and genius things that a soccer player can do on the field. It’s so simple yet can cut through a defense or beat a defender in one quick moment. Cruyff, most famous for his cut back turn, uses a brilliant first touch in the video below and surprises the keeper a bit, I think, with a quick shot that bends up and over his head.
