Bruno Alves nearly takes off Harry Kane’s head with this kung fu tackle in the air. This could have been a lot worse. Looks like Alves scrapes the side of Kane’s face with the bottom of his cleat instead of actually hitting Kane’s head. No blood no foul? I mean even calling this a tackle is questionable. It’s more like what Nigel de Jong did in the World Cup final, but even then it wasn’t towards the player’s head. I don’t even know if Zlatan Ibrahimovic could get his leg up this high.
Kane gets up quickly and keeps playing so it seems he wasn’t hit but this flying karate kick by Alves looks terrible. Correctly Alves was given a red card. Just a very dangerous play that could have seriously hurt Kane. Don’t know what Alves was thinking, obviously he wasn’t thinking.
