Cascade Surge

Cascade Surge

Since 1995 The Cascade Surge have been providing area soccer fans with opportunities to see top flight developmental soccer action. As a part of the United Soccer Leagues, professional system of soccer franchises, the Surge regularly bring players in from across the country and around the world to play for Oregon’s only PDL soccer franchise.

This season will be no exception, as your team will feature players from as far away as Ohio and New York and even foreign countries – Brazil, New Zealand and Scotland. These players will play along some local players who have grown up playing their soccer at local area high schools and with your local soccer clubs – Cascade FC and Keizer SC.
See Tony Griffiths (Scotland), Michael Otto (Brazil), and Quinn Neely-Gallagher (New Zealand); alongside Steve Reese (South HS/Cascade FC), Thomas Ryan (Sprague HS/Cascade FC & Keizer SC/Linfi eld College), Tyler Hagen (Silverton HS/Keizer SC & Cascade FC) and Jimmy Young (Corban College) as they battle to defend the Surge’s back to back Northwest Division Championships against old foes-the Yakima Reds and Abbotsford Rangers; and against new division rivals- Tacoma FC, BYU Cougars and the Ogden Outlaws.

Under the direction of new Head Coach Gary McIntosh (Northwest University/WA) and new Assistant Coach Nic Sedor (Corban College/OR), and in their brand new Admiral kit, come and cheer on your team, as you the fan, our 12th man, can help us in our quest for a third straight NW Division Championship and 5th straight trip to the playoffs.
