Tottenham Hotspurs Clint Dempsey talks about how catching a fish is similar to scoring a goal: sometimes you have to wait a long time and be very patient, but if you’re dedicated and focused you’ll get your fish or your goal. And the thrill is very much the same when you smack a ball into the back of the net as it is when you pulling in a smallmouth bass. However, I’m sure there’s just a bit more excitement when you score a goal against Juventus after just coming on to the pitch. Clearly, Dempsey should have his own fishing show when he retires from the game. |
