Was there really any question who would win? Next up for Messi if he wants to be on the same plane as Maradona or thought of as one of the best players ever to play the game, is to help win the World Cup for Argentina in South Africa this summer. Sure, Kaka, Iniesta, Xavi, and Cristiano Ronaldo are all incredible players, but little Messi seems to always do the amazing and help his team win more and more trophies. What’s also amazing is Barcelona has three players in the running for the player of the year award.
