| Six-year-old Madin Mohammed has been tipped to become the new Zinedine Zidane after he attracted the attention of top level talent scouts with his soccer skills. To call the very young kid the next Zidane is putting a lot of pressure on him to say the least. Does he have the soccer skills and potential, yes. But it’s so early on to get this much exposure that it can impact his development.
What Madin Mohammed needs is to just play soccer and enjoy the game before so much pressure and hype is put on him. In the age of YouTube young soccer players are getting more exposure early on when what they really need is to just have fun and enjoy playing soccer. I wonder if Mohammed modeled his game after Zidane. Surely he did. We’ll see what the future holds for the young Madian. Will Real Madrid try to sign him what with Zidane as the manager? |
