While this video doesn’t give you a view point from a wide cross section of MLS teams, mostly Chicago and New York fans give their input, but Ben Olsen was surprisingly the person named the most as most hated MLS player. Olsen has since retired from the game due to numerous ankle injuries and is now an assistant coach at DC United.
I’m guessing Olsen is hated because he’s loved by the media. More recently, two of the big names that came to the MLS, Beckham and Ibrahimovic of the LA Galaxy are probably the most hated players outside of Los Angeles. Who do you think is the player most hated in all of the MLS?
