Rodri rocket shot is something to see. He hits the soccer ball with power but doesn’t lean back too much and hits the ball directly. I love how the announcer says that Rodri hits the ball with violence, which he does! As they say, the keeper had no chance.
Some say that watching Manchester City has become boring. Since they dominate the game so much with their possession and passing. Really though, they are so clever and skilled it’s a joy to watch them play. They are relentless both on the attack and with their pressure to win the ball back when they lose it.
Rodri scored a goal of the season contender as Manchester City beat Everton 3-0 in a one-sided affair at the Etihad Stadium. The Spaniard beat Jordan Pickford with a 25-yard thunderbolt to double City’s lead. Earlier, Raheem Sterling converted Joao Cancelo’s superb cross to mark his 300th Premier League appearance with a goal. However, Sterling did miss a sitter late in the game.
Bernardo Silva wrapped up the three points late on, when he reacted quickest to slide Cole Palmer’s deflected strike through Pickford’s legs from six-yards. It was another masterful performance from the defending champions. Manchester City replicated the dominant display against Manchester United a fortnight ago to claim a deserved victory. Silva is a player who deserves more praise he’s so talented and really a key figure for City.
Watch the Rodri rocket shot in the video below. It is indeed hit with violence! Man City can lull you to sleep with their passing game. And then score a long range goal like this one from Rodri!
Rodri said this about his rocket shot goal:
“I am very happy with my goal, I don’t score many. Many times I don’t have the opportunity to shoot as I pass, but at that moment I felt it, kind of a rocket. I’m very happy because the goal was a beauty.”
