Newcastle United’s strength and conditioning coach Dr Duncan French demonstrates the chaos mirror drill and explains how it will benefit your football.

You will need:
2 cones – spaced 5 to 10 metres apart (maximum)
2 people

Muscles worked:
Major leg muscles – the gluts, hamstrings and quads

What to do:
Each set = up to 20 seconds (maximum)
3-5 sets per session
Twice a week
