What the heck is a chaos mirror drill? And what does the chaos mirror drill have to do with soccer? This is an interesting soccer training routine from English Premier League side Newcastle’s fitness coach. Sometimes you have to mix it up and try new things in soccer. Here, Newcastle United’s strength and conditioning coach Dr Duncan French demonstrates the chaos mirror drill and explains how it will benefit your football / soccer abilities.
You will need:
2 cones – spaced 5 to 10 metres apart (maximum)
Major leg muscles – the gluts, hamstrings and quads
What to do:
Each set = up to 20 seconds (maximum)
3-5 sets per session
