3/10/09 Real Madrid was hammered in the early going by Liverpool, and really throughout the match. Torres made Raul look slow. The penalty on Heinze was ridiculous but the game belonged to The Reds. And even though I don’t like Stevie G all that much, he is the real deal. Liverpool looked like they were on Red Bull throughout the match, and ended up winning 4 nil. I posted this video mainly so you could see the wonderful turn by Torres in the very beginning of the video below. He takes a smart and well paced ball from Gerrard and flicks the ball in behind himself to run on to. Casillas makes an equally fantastic save with his foot. Take a look.
