Thiago passing accuracy is incredible. Liverpool’s Thiago has had a good run of form of late for Liverpool. He’s enjoying himself on the soccer pitch. He wants the ball at his feet all the time. Which is what makes a good midfielder. And he just doesn’t lose the ball when he does get it.
What’s more is he plays long balls down the line and not just five yard passes. Although he makes those too. The former Barcelona player is implemented the tiki taka into Liverpool’s game. It’s about time Thiago got the Zidane documentary treatment. Wherein the camera just focuses on him the entire game.
Thiago’s pass accuracy in his last two games:
Everton: 98.4%
Man Utd: 95.6%— B/R Football (@brfootball) April 24, 2022
Watch the best of the action from Thiago Alcantara’s brilliant display for the Reds in their Premier League win at Anfield. Liverpool give Thiago the sort of Zidane camera focus in this video below. Really what Thiago does well is find the space to move into to receive the ball. Not as easy as it seems though. He drifts just enough in to those open areas to receive the ball and then of course has a plan for what he wants to do before the ball comes to him.
Over at Barcelona and for Spain Gavi’s passing accuracy is being talked about too. Where does Thiago sit in the rankings for best or more accurate passing midfielders. There’s Iniesta, Xavi, Guardiola, Gavi, Pedri, Busquets, Xabi – yes, a big group of them from La Masia and Barcelona ranks.
