Christian Pulisic’s First Assist for Chelsea

There’s a team in the English Premier League that could really use Christian Pulisic. It’s not the one he currently plays for. It’s Manchester United. They’re the team that needs his cleverness and skill.

In Pulisic’s first assist for Chelsea you can witness that skill and cleverness. How Pulisic holds the ball and finds the pass. In this great give and go you can see not what Chelsea need but Manchester United. Yes, I’m guessing Frank Lampard sees that too and will give Pulisic more playing time but it’s a shame in some ways that Pulisic didn’t go to the football /soccer team that really needs his dribbling and passing skills.

Michy Batshuayi plays a nice give-and-go with Christian Pulisic and squeezes a low effort past Angus Gunn at his near post to increase Chelsea’s lead over Southampton to 4-1. It’s also nice to see Pulisic having some fun with Batshuayi after he scores and doing their handshake and little dance. Of course it helps that Pulisic played with Batshuayi at Dortmund.

Take a look back at the best moments of Christian Pulisic’s 19/20 season, with the young midfielder securing 11 goals & 9 assist in all competitions in his debut season!

Still though the fist bump and special celebration handshake are a good sign that Pulisic gets along well with his Chelsea teammates. I’m sure we’ll see more goals and assists from Pulisic for Chelsea in the years to come, but Manchester United are the ones who really need him.
