American soccer legend Landon Donovan in a Mexican lottery commercial. Not sure when this ad was made, looks a little bit old, but I think that’s what they were going for. Sort of a Clint Eastwood Wild West feel. Really genius ad idea to use Donovan here.
Donovan finally has some success with an ad in the funny department. He didn’t have much luck in some of the others, maybe he just needs to speak in Spanish more often.
Landon Donovan is probably the most hated man in all of Mexico. It’s easier to win the Lotto in Mexico! Donovan’s Spanish is pretty good you’d have to say and probably why Mexican soccer fans love and hate him.
