I think we’ll be hearing from Julio Gomez a lot more in the years to come. This kid had one hell of a game for Mexico in the U-17 World Cup semi-final match versus Germany. The 17 year old Gomez had a hand in all three goals, helping his team reach the final versus Uruguay. Full story over NY Times Goal blog. I wonder where Gomez will end up playing in Europe.
