Really, it’s a bit of surprise that Thierry Henry is still wearing Reebok soccer shoes. You’d think that by now one of the big soccer shoe companies like Nike or Adidas would have come along and won him over with an endoresment deal. But the Frenchmen has stuck with the Reebok and so he must enjoy wearing the shoes.
Henry has had a tough run the past year or so, with the hand ball controversy against Ireland and losing some minutes to a surging Pedro at Barcelona. But Henry is a class professional, and when called upon he’ll score goals and create chances in big games for both his club and country when asked.
These days Henry is wearing the Reebok Valde II Pro soccer shoes on his feet as he glides past defenders along the touch line of the Camp Nou. However, there’s talk that Henry’s days at Barcelona are numbered, and that he’ll likely head to New York after the World Cup and sign with the MLS’s New York Red Bulls.
