In financial terms, it looks like Inter Milan is getting the most out of this deal. They’re being paid $64 million for Ibrahimovic and getting Eto’o – no slouch. Plus, they are also getting Aleksandr Hleb on loan for the year, with Barcelona paying his salary. Time will tell though, as we’ll see who ends up winning the most trophies. As far as Barca, you could probably stick anybody upfront and they would be able to score goals with Iniesta, Xavi and Messi running the show. It is sad to see Eto’o leave the Camp Nou, he has been a classy player for a number of years for them. |
