The Maradona chip shot. Will there ever be another footballer like Maradona. Don’t think so. Sure, Messi is close but Maradona just had a different sort of arrogant style. Maybe Messi will catch him, we’ll see.
Don’t forget, like his young protégé Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona has worn the Barcelona jersey, and scored some classic goals with the club at that. It’s a shame Maradona wasn’t able to stay longer at Barcelona. His best years were yet to come and it all really happened in Italy when he played for Napoli.
