What in the world is on top of Neymar’s head? Is that a headband or a hat? If you are as good as Neymar you can play and wear pretty much anything you want on your head. The Brazil and Barcelona legend is really only just getting started in his football career.
So a lot of fans watching Barcelona play today were a bit confused as to exactly what Neymar was wearing on his head? Was Neymar playing with a beanie or a hat on his head? It looked that way at first. Neymar was actually wearing a headband, but with his short hair, that was almost the same black color as the headband, made it seem like it was a hat or a beanie. The headband looks a bit thicker or wider than a normal headband too, like something you’d wear while skiing up in the mountains, not at the Camp Nou, but at least Neymar’s not wearing a snood. Well, it is like he’s wearing a snood that he’s pulled up over his head. Many fans remembered Ronalinho, with his headband when he played for Barcelona, but he needed to wear the headband cause of his long hair while Neymar’s head is basically shaved, so no sure why he wore the headband. But Neymar’s playing well these days with Messi out injured, so he can wear whatever he wants on his head as long as he’s scoring goals. Neymar is also known to wear a strip around his nose to help him breath better. And he pulls his socks up higher than most soccer players, although he’s made it popular the last few years. For Neymar Jr., life just keeps getting better. Every. Single. Day. The Brazilian striker, now in his fourth season donning the Blaugrana jersey, enjoys a special relationship with Lionel Messi and has been an integral part of the team’s most recent successes — including his lead role as Lord of the Comeback in the final minutes of Barça’s historic win over PSG at Camp Nou — all the while his play with the Brazilian national team continues reaching dizzying new heights, inviting all sorts of comparisons with his countryman, the great Pelé.
