Today, the question is where will DaMarcus end up playing, as he’s been left out of the Rangers side the past few games. He said he nearly signed with of the German Bundesliga side Schalke during the transfer window but the deal fell through.

"I want to play football. I came close to leaving. It went down to the wire but it didn’t happen," he told the Evening Times.

"Maybe I will speak to the manager over the next few months. We’ll see how it goes. I can’t say if I’m not playing that I won’t worry about Schalke and what happened, but the transfer window has closed.
