Paul Oberjuerge spent nearly 32 years at the San Bernardino (Calif.) Sun, all but nine months of it in sports. He was sports editor of The Sun from 1980 to 2003, and the section was ranked among the top 10 daily sections (in its circulation category) in the nation several times.
