|One thing all soccer coaches will tell you is you have to have a perfect first touch if you want to play pro soccer. Ryan Giggs, who is edging closer and closer to 40 years old, bends in a perfect ball for Robin van Persie to latch on to and he does. What stands out though is Van Persie’s first touch – it’s in stride and out in front of him. He cushions the ball with his left foot and then takes a look at where the keeper is and strikes the ball low and to the corner with his right.|
Just a perfect finish from the Dutchman who has quickly become a Manchester United hero. Oh poor West Ham. You were so close to winning the match out right. And oh poor Arsenal, it must pain you to see Robin van Persie playing so well for a hated foe.
Robin van Persie scored 48 Premier League goals in his time at Old Trafford, as he helped fire the Reds to the 2013 title. Watch all RVP’s league goals here, now!
And sometimes, crazy enough, one can forget that Robin van Persie really made his name playing football for Arsenal!
Relive a London classic as we defeated Chelsea 5-3 at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League. Goals from Andre Santos, Theo Walcott and a Robin Van Persie hat-trick helping us to all three points.
