Fall State Recreational Cup for U10-U16

The Kentucky Youth Soccer Association (KYSA) Commonwealth Cup was initiated and organized to enhance the accomplishments recreational players achieve by participating is a state championship tournament. The development of all players within KYSA is advanced when the player meets personal challenges. The Commonwealth Cup is designed to encourage and honor the recreational player by allowing the player to compete for both team and personal goals.

This tournament is structured so that, regardless of ability, all players can realistically strive for the goal of becoming a state champion. Lover’s Lane Soccer Complex in Bowling Green on the Nov. 5th & 6th and Nov. 12th & 13th.

Nelson Co to host the 2006 Kohl’s American Cup State Championship the weekends of June 10-11 and June 17-18 in Bardstown.

APPLICATION DEADLINE MAY 1 – Three regular length game minimum for all teams where ever possible. Open to all Kentucky YSA U10 to U16 recreational teams.

3. Roster size limited to 18 players. U-9 and U-10 limited to 14. U-11 and U-12 limited to 16.
4. All players must have player passes.
5. All players must have medical release forms.
6. Players will play on only one team during the tournament.
7. U-9 and U-10 will play 6v.6. U-11 and U-12 will play 8v.8. U-13 and up will play 11v.11.
8. Three (3) guests players will be allowed.

Awards will be presented to all division finalists (U-11 to U-14). Participation awards will be presented to all U-9 and U-10 teams. We will be following the KYSA recommended implementation of the USYSA small sided format: 6v6 for U9 and U10, 8v8 and 11v11 for U11 and U12, 11v11 for U12, U13 and U14.
