Suarez Bites Chiellini in the World Cup

Suarez bites Chiellini: Watch as Luis Suarez of Uruguay bites Giorgio Chiellini of Italy in their World Cup match. It is of course not the first time that Suarez has bitten an opposing player. Suarez bit someone while he was playing in Holland. The biting incident is one of the oddest things to happen in world soccer. I wonder if maybe Suarez didn’t get enough of his mate tea before the game or something!

What’s interesting though is Barcelona was able to sign Suarez after this incident and his ensuing four month ban. It was risky for Barcelona to sign Suarez after this but it paid off in a huge way. Suarez and Messi developed a partnership on and off the field and helped Barcelona win a ton of games.

The Liverpool striker defended himself on Uruguayan television after the incident, saying: “These situations happen on the pitch. We were both just inside the area, he struck me in the chest with his shoulder and he hit me in the eye as well.”

WHY did Luis Suarez bite his opponents? You might have asked yourself this question after seeing Luis Suarez repeatedly bite other players, his victims were Bakkali, Ivanovic and Giorgio Chiellini. In this video below, FINALLY discover why Luis Suarez, the FC Barcelona striker, used to bite his opponents and why he’s finally calmed down at Barcelona. Biting another soccer player is right up there with spitting on another player!

What is interesting now is Suarez might end up playing with Chiellini on the same team! There is talk that LAFC are interested in signing Suarez.

However, LAFC have just signed Gareth Bale and already have Carlos Vela and Cristian Arango – who is scoring a lot of goals for LAFC – so not sure where Suarez would fit in as a forward
