Remember that time Diego Maradona played for Barcelona. Of course Maradona was going to dribble past the keeper, but then he cuts inside to avoid the sliding defender and slot the ball home. So calm. So genius. There really is no footballer and never will be a footballer like Maradona. During an el clasico match playing for Barcelona Maradona showed his dribbling skill and made Real Madrid suffer.
Some people forget that Maradona even played for Barcelona. It was a short stay due to injuries for the most part and then he went on to a storied career at Napoli. It’s a wonder Maradona wasn’t banned from football for life after a fight where he karate kicked a few players. There’s no doubt though that Maradona played the game with a confidence and style like few others have ever played. He was a joy to watch.
