Barcelona to Practice at Kezar
Ahead of their game versus Mexican side Chivas at Candlestick park in San Francsico, Barcelona will have a training session at Kezar stadium near Golden Gate Park.
There is talk that the stadium will fill up fast, so get there early. The practice is set to start at 9am and the cost is $10, with the money going to a local charity. Could be a good chance to get an upclose look at Messi, Henry, Xavi, Alves, and the rest of the Barcelona treble winners.
We’ll try to get some photos from the training session, if possible. Here are some pictures from Barcelona’s training in LA.
Game is on Saturday: FC Barcelona vs Chivas and Columbus Crew vs San Jose Earthquakes Saturday, August 08, 2009 – 5:30 PM – Candlestick Park – San Francisco, CA
The game should be a good one. Especially if you base it on the two previous games versus the Sounders and the Galaxy. And since Chivas is a Mexican side, expect a large and perhaps a bit hostile crowd in SF. Still some tickets available I hear, though not too many.
