David Beckham Blasts the Ball from Distance

David Beckham finds room to send in a swirling blast and hits the upper 90 for a goal, which seals a 3-1 victory at home to the Portland Timbers.

And while Beckham’s first touch here isn’t perfect, as he pushed the ball almost too far out in front of himself, the idea is right and that’s why he’s able to blast the ball into the upper corner. Your first touch should be into the space you want to attack and take a shot on goal.

With the inside of his right foot, Beckham bends the ball towards the top corner. This isn’t all finesse though, as Beckham hits the soccer ball with pace and power.
