Soccer Speakers: Need a Motivational Speaker?

For me, I wish Jurgen Klopp would come give the pre-game team talk for my soccer team – Klopp would certainly give out some hugs after as well. Or maybe Jose Mourinho would give an inspiring and motivational speech.  I came across this site, All American Speakers, which is a search directory for public speakers and talent, mostly former professional athletes, comedians, and actors who do motivational speaking. I was somewhat surprised to see some of the soccer speakers they had listed, and although some of their information was outdated, it was interesting to see their speaking rates.

To hear wisdom from Bruce Arena and Tony DiCicco, the fees range from $20,001 to $30,000. As a comparison, you could get Anna Kornakova for $50,001 or more, but this of course depends upon the audience you’re trying to motivate. If you get a bigger budget, you could get Jerry Seinfeld, Lance Armstrong, Robin Williams, Billy Crystal or Donald Trump for $200,000 and above. I wonder if these are pre-recession rates? Seem a bit high to me. Who would you pay to come fire up your soccer team? What former pro player would you like to come talk to your team?
