Update: Stuart Holden has been ruled out for six weeks after suffering a fracture to his leg on international duty Hopefully the injury to Holden isn’t too serious and he can get back to playing pretty quickly. It’s really a shame, since he’s started to get some time with EPL side Bolton Wanderers. Fortunately, Holden was able to limp off the field and will have an x-ray later to see if it’s more serious. Right now the U.S. team is calling it a shin contusion. Holden was one of the bright spots in the game against Holland even though he played just thirty minutes. He was calm and confident on the ball, unlike many of the other U.S. players.
