When your last name is FUCHS, you’re going to sell a lot of soccer jerseys. As in the second most MLS jerseys after Gareth Bale. And just ahead of Carlos Vela. It’s not like Christian Fuchs is a goal scorer or something. He plays left back! I wouldn’t say he plays the game with some unique flair that would inspires others to want his jersey.
I mean I know Charolette FC has a big and growing soccer fandom, but Fuchs as the second most popular jerseys in the MLS, there has to be something else going on. Surely it’s the similar FUCHS has to a four letter word that’s often evoked when one misses a wide open shot or an attacker goes past them.
