Harry Kane goal for Bayern Munich in their game versus FC Augsburg. As ESPN’s Herculez Gomez says, “One of the most ridiculous ‘piece of skill’ moments you will EVER see.” It is a Puskás goal of the year contender by Kane.
In addition, Kane completes his hat trick with this genius goal in the 94th minute. Look at how Kane’s toe is curled up to control the ball back to himself. That is proof he knows what he’s doing with that touch.
This first touch from Harry Kane is just brilliant. It is once again a display in soccer where juggling the ball comes in to use. Because this really is a juggling skill by Kane. But Kane does it in the air with a goalkeeper potentially coming out at him.
Try it yourself. Juggle the soccer ball and then play it up to your head and pass it to somebody. It is not as easy as Kane makes it look. And again this is from a cross into the box with the goalkeeper in front of him.
Watch the Harry Kane goal in the video below for Bayern Munich. Leon Goretzka with a perfect cross to Kane. Also, look at who comes to celebrate with him, Thomas Müller. It is very much a goal that Müller would score. Kind of unorthodox but brilliant. Nediljko Labrović, goalkeeper for FC Augsburg, has no chance once Kane gets a touch on the ball.
One of the most ridiculous ‘piece of skill’ moments you will EVER see.
Take a bow, Harry Kane 👏🏼

Moreover, Harry Kane recreated the Bundesliga logo against Augsburg. For the 2024/25 season for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, Kane has scored 14 goals so far.
Finally, Kane is an interesting footballer. In that if you saw him on the street, you might not think he is a world class player on the field. But he is. He will go down in history as one of England’s best strikers, no doubt. He is so good because he plays within himself. Knows how to use his body to shield the ball and hold it up as a striker.
Overall though, he is a goal scorer, pure and simple. He’s not fast or super athletic, yet he can pull off a skill like this. And he has proved just how good of a goal scorer he is for the Tottenham Hotspurs, Bayern Munich, and England, of course. It says a lot about a player who can become a star in the English Premier league and duplicate that success in the Bundesliga.
