Wesley Sneijder Header Versus Brazil

Wesley Sneijder, one of the shortest players on the field, at 5 ft 7 inches (which is probably generous) gets the game winner for the Netherlands against all mighty Brazil.

And it was a much improved corner kick set play, especially compared to their previous trick corner attempt and fail. Robben whips the ball to the near post with his left foot, Dirk Kuyt flicks the ball on, and Sneijder is there to knod the ball home. This was a perfect corner kick, but the Brazilian players were nowhere to be found.

Sneijder had this to say about the goal: "It’s my first headed goal. I don’t think it will happen again. It slipped off my bald head and went in."
